Workout Routines For 1-11-10 To 1-17-10
Monday (1/11/10) - ChaLean Extreme Lean Circuit 2
Tuesday (1/12/10) - P90X Yoga X
Wednesday (1/13/10) - Skiing at Mt. Holly - Trying to get the legs as warmed up as I can before my ski trip to Park City, Utah next month. There is nothing that can compare to the mountains out west here in Michigan so I have to do whatever I can.
Thursday (1/14/10) - Insanity Cardio Recovery & ChaLean Extreme Lean Circuit 3 - The lunges and squat holds in Cardio Recovery are brutal. There is nothing "recovery" about this workout. After finishing it I went right into ChaLean with my girlfriend Andrea.
Friday (1/15/10) - Day Off
Saturday (1/16/10) - ChaLean Extreme Burn Intervals - A lot tougher then what I expected. This was based around doing lots of reps with light weights. I must have done 30 curls during one of the exercises. My shoulders, arms, and butt were sore the next day.
Sunday (1/17/10) - Day Off
Spent a lot of time this week doing the ChaLean Extreme workout with my girlfriend. The principles of ChaLean are to lift heavy weights to build lean muscle versus lots of reps with light weights. Burn Intervals is the only workout which promotes lots of reps with light weights. All of the workouts I have done so far with ChaLean Extreme have left me feeling a little sore the next day. It was a little confusing trying to guess what resistance band to use at times since it was my first time doing the workouts as Andrea was using my Bowflex SelectTech dumbbells.

Best Comment Ever. You just set the bar. I need to start working out harder so I puke explosively.
This is cool though as I’ve had a lot of guys who are powerlifters and think they can’t get anything out of P90X.
