Monday (7/20/09)  P90X Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps – I had a very good workout today. I was able to do over 140 total push ups. I was sore as hell the next day.

Tuesday (7/21/09) Insanity Fit Test – Today was my first day doing Insanity. The Fit Test DVD was 26 minutes long. It had a 3 minute warm up that made me sweat. There are 8 Fit Test exercises which are 1 minute each. You have to do as many reps as you can in the one minute. It was tougher than I expected as I had to take breaks.

Wednesday (7/22/09) Double Header Softball Game – We played well but split the games. I went 5 for 8.

Thursday (7/23/09) Insanity Plyometric Cardio Circuit – This was crazy. Beachbody was not joking when they said you would be working out in a pool of your own sweat. I had to take breaks.

Friday (7/24/09) Insanity Cardio Power and Resistance – This was tough. I would never of thought of the workouts Shaun T does during these. Again, I could not finish the workout.

Saturday (7/25/09) Insanity Cardio Recovery – This was suppose to be a light day as there was not any fast movement workouts. I still could not finish. A number of the exercises put you in positions where you are doing lunges or squats and you have to hold the position for 30 seconds or more.

Sunday (7/26/09) Day Off

I am very excited about the Insanity workout. My abs, shoulders, and legs feel tighter already. This is going to be a fun 60 days. It might be awhile before I do P90X again as I might need to do Insanity twice before I can finish each workout.
