Workout Review For 10-19-09 To 10-25-09
Monday (10/19/09) Insanity Max Cardio Conditioning
Tuesday (10/20/09) Insanity Max Interval Circuit
Wednesday (10/21/09) P90X Shoulders And Arms w/Ab Ripper X & Triple Header Softball Game - With doing Insanity cardio workouts the previous two days I decided to do resistance training before our softball playoff games. It was single elimination format. We mercied the first team we played and beat the second team by 2 runs in a exciting game. We made it to the final game against a team we have lost to 3 times in the Championship Game before. We got our butts kicked 15-3. What is interesting is that in the regular season we beat these guys all the time but when it comes down to it in the finals we can't get it together. I probably had my best defensive games of the year. I felt lighter on my feet from the Insanity workouts and stronger from doing P90X Shoulders and Arms before the game. I went 7 for 10 at bat and did not make one error at second base even though I had more hit to me during all three games then my previous 6 games combined. Maybe next year.
Thursday (10/22/09) Day Off - Was feeling pretty sore from the 3 softball games and working out from the day before.
Friday (10/23/09) Insanity Max Interval Plyo - Hamstrings were tight but I found a way to power through with just a couple breaks.
Saturday (10/24/09) 4 Mile Run - Had not gone for a run in awhile. While it was a cold and rainy day here in Michigan I was able to do the run without taking any breaks and felt very good. All of the exercises that come with Insanity have helped out my legs a lot.
Sunday (10/25/09) Day Off
With my softball season officially over now I have not decided yet if I want to complete the last two weeks of Insanity or continue on with my P90X and Insanity hybrid program. I am leaning towards finishing Insanity as I don't have any upcoming sporting events that require me to keep a little bit of bulky muscle.

My name is Brad Gibala. In 2007 I was introduced to P90X by a friend training for the Marines. I didn't know it at the time but that moment changed my life. Since then I've become a full time
