Monday (6/1/09) P90X Chest Shoulders Triceps. I pushed really hard today. My push up count was up by 10 from my previous time.
Tuesday (6/2/09) 4 mile run
Wednesday (6/3/09) Double header softball game. The team I am on is unique. We won the first game by a couple of runs and then sat around for awhile. We never seem to do well when this happens. We were down 8-2 going into the bottom of the 6th inning. I was hoping we would get 4 runs, hold them, and then win it in the 7th. We ended up batting through the order twice putting 16 runs on the board. One of the guys on my team hit a grand slam. The look on the other teams faces was one of shock. They scored no runs at the top of the 7th and it was over. On a funny note, my brother wore jeans and his friends wore jean shorts to play in. It was hilarious. My arms and chest were sore from doing chest, shoulder, tricep on Monday and I did not have a good batting performance as they were tight. Fielding was good as I am getting use to my new Demarini Softball Glove my bro bought me for my B-Day.
Thursday (6/4/09) 4 mile run
Friday (6/5/09) P90X Back and Biceps. I had a really good workout today. I was able to do 50 total pulls/chin ups during this routine. This was the most I have done for this exercise. The amount of weight I used for each exercise went up.
Saturday (6/6/09) Went for a 6 mile bike ride to a sporting goods store to replace my old Reef Sandals. Had to get another pair of them because they have the cool bottle opener feature on them that have become very handy. My knees and ankles had been starting to hurt over the past couple of months and I came to the conclusion there was not much padding left as I was wore them down over the past two years.
Sunday (6/7/09) Yard work around the house. I broke the brand new Hedge Shears we bought that morning while I was clipping some vines and branches in the back yard. Maybe I need to lay off P90X. The branch was not going to give and neither was I so the handle for the shears did.
