Even though I only did 4 days of actually workouts I feel as if it was a successful week. My 4 miles of running went very well with no breaks and no knee pains. P90X Legs and Back went very well and I was able to do 80 total pull ups. It still amazes me that I can do that much even with me not doing that particular workout that much anymore. When its time to do kenpo I use the set of weighted gloves I received with my "Showcase Pack" when I signed up to be a Beachbody Coach. They do make a big difference as now my back is getting involved when I throw punches.
Friday was a beautiful day here in Royal Oak, MI. I had some errands to do after finishing my morning jog and got on my mountain bike and headed into downtown. Getting use to not having a car anymore is going over very smoothly so far. It is only a mile away so it takes about 3 minutes to get there pedaling at a normal pace. Once my errands were over I went on a journey around the city and found a bunch of really cool places to go and hang out at night. At the end of the day I had done 7 total miles of cardio.
It was my dad's 59th birthday on friday and we went to a nice restaurant downtown and a brewery after. Dad was telling me that without me being around its been hard for him to stay on track with his workouts. I purchased him a pull up bar and a set of resistance bands to have at the house. Maybe I need to call him everyday or something and pester him to make sure he is doing the workouts.
