I receive a couple emails or comments a week from people trying to find out about the P90X affiliate program. People look all day for some place to sign up but just can’t find it. So what I am going to do is tell you exactly what the Beachbody Coach business is.

P90X Affiliate : What Is It?

Straight up, its a Multi Level Marketing (MLM) or sometimes called Network Marketing program. Its not like traditional affiliate programs out there where you sign up for free, put a couple banners on your health/fitness related website and when people click on the banners and buy something you get a commission. There actually is no P90X affiliate program.

So what are you thinking right now? Everything you’ve ever heard about MLM’s is bad, right? They are pyramid schemes and people get ripped off, right? Its a scam, right? The problem is most people who get involved in those fail because they were expecting to make a quick buck and never put in the effort. Its the truth. If you don’t treat it like a business then it will never become a business.

Why Is The P90X Affiliate Program Different Than Normal Affiliate Programs?

Beachbody, the company that makes P90X set up the Beachbody Coach business opportunity because thousands of people who used their products achieved awesome results. Friends, family, and co-workers would notice their results and ask them what they are doing. The person would refer them to Beachbody. People started calling in to Beachbody asking if they had a P90X affiliate program as so many people were sending business to them. Beachbody took it one step further and created the coach opportunity to make a “P90X business” not a affiliate program. Here is a video explaining how simple this business is.

You are probably here not because you use P90X but because you are a business person trying to find a way to capitalize on all of the buzz going on about P90X. That’s cool, I respect that. However, what you need to know is that affiliate programs lack one thing and its that you are not building your business. You are building the companies you affiliate with business. You don’t keep the customers, they do.

Beachbody decided to reward those people who treat it like a business and let them keep their customers. Its no secret that P90X and any other Beachbody workout or nutrition product works. This causes most people to come back and buy stuff in the future. Why would you ever want to join a affiliate program for a one and done commission payment when you can build a business and get paid multiple times from the same person?

Here comes the news you probably did not want to hear. It costs money to join!! Unbelievable you might say. How could any company charge money to start a business? Come on, really? I’m sorry for the smart ass remark but I’ve had enough of people crying about forking out some money to start a business.

It costs $39 to start and $15 every 5 weeks. The $39 gets you a Beachbody Coach website where you can send people to buy from you. This can be waived at sign up if you buy P90X, some business materials, and Shakeology. The $15 after that covers things like order fulfilment, customer service, shipping, warehousing, and any other admin thing you don’t want to do. No inventory either. It also covers the $70 MILLION in advertising Beachbody is spending a year branding their products. You get to “piggy back” off of it as everybody has heard of their products. Fifteen dollars is not a bad deal when you think about it. All you have to do is promote and everything else is taken care of.

Why Is The Beachbody Coach Biz Better Than A P90X Affiliate Program?

Its more than just a business. I would say 90% of the people who sign up to be a Coach do it for the 25% discounts on Beachbody products as it makes sense. Its why I did. You even get free shipping on most nutritional products. Why spend money at GNC buying the same products when you can have them shipped to your house for free and save $30 a month doing it? The savings cover the $15 a month business fee. I hope you see why this would work for anybody. Its not just a online thing either. Most of my success came from people I’ve talked to. Over the 1 year I’ve been involved it has become more of a accountability factor to stay in shape. How can I promote P90X and not look like I do it? Staying in shape is not a bad thing.

How Do You Make Money As A Beachbody Coach?

What you will not see with the sign up page is the big discounts you get. After signing up you get offered the Beachbody “Showcase Pack.” In the pack are 6 of their most popular workouts including P90X, Power 90, Yoga Booty Ballet, Hip Hop Abs, Slim In 6, Turbo Jam, 4 resistance bands, weighted gloves, and a squishy ball. All of these retail for $446. Check out the retail prices in the Beachbody Store to confirm.  You can buy them for $199. This is a $247 savings. Here is a picture of the Showcase Pack I bought.

Everything you get in the Showcase Pack will cover years of working out and exercise equipment. Beachbody gives you this large discount when you sign up because they know that when you start working out that people are going to start noticing your results. They will start asking you questions about what you are doing to get in shape. Instead of you sending them to the Beachbody site you can now send them to yours and make some money on the side. When it all comes down to it this is not about making money, its about getting in shape and living a healthy lifestyle. If for some reason you do not want to be a coach anymore you can cancel at anytime and if you do so within the first 30 days you can get a full refund and keep anything you bought with your Coaches discount.

I have had a lot of success as a coach just by getting in shape using the products and telling people about it.
