P90X Legs And Back DVD
The P90X Legs and Back DVD is one of my favorite P90X workouts. Before I started doing P90X I never did any kind of legs or back workout. It was not that I did not want to work those out but never knew how much both of those muscle groups are so important to my everyday fitness. When I use to go to the gym I was that typical guy who did a lot of bench presses, curls, and tricep workouts. I would get on the treadmill every now and then to warm up but I did a lot of arm and chest workouts. Sure, I felt stronger and was in decent shape but no where near the kind of shape I am in now due to P90X. After having great success with P90X I wanted to do more workouts from the Beachbody Company. I was very happy to come across the Beachbody Coach program.
I filmed myself doing the P90X Legs and Back routine after my 90 days with P90X. When I first started I could barely do 15 total chin / pull ups during this routine. While recording this video I did 77 total chin / pull ups. There was one time where I did 82. The rest of this article goes over each exercise shown in the video.
The P90X Legs And Back routine starts out with a set of "Balance Lunges." This is where you put one foot on a chair and do lunges with one leg while trying to balance. After getting done swimming I went back to work for a couple of hours and then came home. When I got home I still felt like I had a lot of energy to burn so I decided to to the P90X legs and back dvd. It had been awhile since I had done that P90X workout so I decided to do it.
It was actually one of my better workouts. I did more pull ups and chin ups than I had ever done before and was quite proud of my improvements. I know all of the swimming I have been doing lately helped out with my back muscles which leads to more strength to do pull ups and chin ups. Let's just say that the P90X results are speaking for themselves right now. I checked my log book and can see how every week my results are getting better and I am feeling stronger.
Fast forward two days and I can barely walk. My legs are arms were feeling so tight that it hurt to move. It was some soreness that I have not felt in awhile. Probably as much soreness as when I first started doing P90X. I think I might have pushed myself a little too far two nights ago and now I am paying for it. I decided to do P90X Yoga X yesterday morning before my softball game last night to hopefully stretch out my body so I did not
