style="text-align: center">If you are a savvy internet shopper than you have probably found yourself comparing prices at a online retailer, getting the price and then heading over to eBay to see if you can save a couple dollars. I don’t blame you, I do it to. What I wanted to do was tell you why not to “Buy P90X DVDs on eBay.”

The P90X DVDs you are finding on eBay are frauds that are bought over in China and listed for sale. These replicas do not come with the nutrition plan, calendar, or fitness plan. Many of them are low quality and some are not even in English. There have been a number of reports where people have paid for P90X through their PayPal account and never got the DVD. It then became a hassle to get their money back.

Nobody who is affiliated with the Beachbody Company is allowed to sell the P90X DVDs on eBay or Craigslist. Beachbody does have a merchant account with Amazon and sells on there. The prices are the same there as at the Beachbody store. Those who do will be contacted by the legal team from Beachbody and have charges brought up against them. I recently talked to a guy who was buying the P90X DVDs from China and was listing them on eBay. He was contacted by Beachbody and told to stop or risk getting sued. They took it one step farther and contacted eBay and had his account suspended. He did not know he was doing anything wrong. Luckily for him I told him about the Beachbody Coach program.

Beachbody Coach like I am describing what you need to look out for. The picture is not too good but he describes everything in detail.

This is the package you get P90X in from Beachbody. Not like the fraud you saw in the video above.

<img

You can get everything you need to do P90X with like the pull up bar and resistance bands at the Beachbody Store.

If you really want to take the risk of buying a fraud or a inferior product I must say that you are missing out. If you think you are getting a great deal then you might as well take it one step farther and sign up for the Beachbody Club. Inside the club you track your workouts, get nutrition tips, and advice. You can try it out for 30 days and if you don’t like it you can cancel and get a full refund while keeping a free cook book. You also get entered into daily cash prizes for up to $1,000 and an annual $250k prize. What a deal.

Back to the matter at hand. I can’t make you not buy P90x on eBay so here are a couple listings where you can compare them to the video above. I am sure you will see a couple of them right off the bat where they are not listing the nutrition guide, calendar, or fitness guide with them and the picture does not look like the one above. If the listings do look like the photo above just be careful. Its very easy to photo shop a picture and sell you something different.
<p

We all reflect back on the past year and think about what we could have done differently whether it was at your job, at school, and my favorite, your health. How many times have you been at a New Years party and thought in your head that this was the year you were going to get into shape? If you are saying it this time you have probably said it every New Years Eve for the past 10 years. Most people who are in decent shape say this is the year they run a marathon or train for a triathlon. What you need to do is first get to the step where you can say that.

Living a healthy life is becoming more and more important due to rising health care costs. One of the best remedies to high health care bills is living a healthy active life. I love talking to people who say getting into shape is such a hard task. Its always my friends who when I met them were in great shape in college or in high school and have kind of let themselves go. Its not that their fat its that they do not have the energy to go out and do activities like skiing or mountain biking anymore. It sucks because they are my friends and now I think twice about inviting them because I know they are not going to last.

Let’s talk about your New Years Resolution of “losing weight” or getting back into shape or even just “getting into shape.” What do people do every year? All of them go to their local gym and buy a membership. I tend to stay away from the gym in January because all of the people who have bought are there working on their New Years Resolution. I’m happy that they are there and most at least make it for the first two weeks and then right around February 1st the crowds die down again and things start going back to normal. Then right around March 1st you see a lot of the same faces who were there before the New Year. So why does this happen? The answer is education.

Education? Yup, knowledge. What most people do when they head back to the gym is go back to all of their old workout routines from when they were in high school. This is effective for the first two weeks. You feel little to no gain at all and grow bored of your workout. After getting bored you start making up excuses for not heading back to the gym and end up heading back to your old habits. So how does knowledge get into this?

When working out you need to switch things up so your body does not know whats coming and more importantly you need somebody to guide you through the process. Having somebody keeping tabs on you and pushing you is one of the most important aspects of exercising. But who can you depend on to do this? Friends, family members, maybe? How about a personal trainer? They tend to be a little bit pricey but maybe you will get a deal if you sign up for the gym membership on the first week of January like every one else.

The best thing you can do for yourself is read about this workout called P90X. What P90X will teach you is how to get into shape in such a way that you will never get bored and keep you motivated. The secret to this workout is that you are changing your workouts every 30 days over a 90 day period. During every 30 days you are doing 5 different workouts ranging from yoga to abs to cardio to pull ups to legs to chest. You name it your doing it. After every 30 days you will be introduced to 3 new workouts continuing on until 90 days.

The P90X workout is loaded with exercises you would never of thought to do. The knowledge comes from trainer Tony Horton. This guy is 46 years old and is ripped. Yup, ripped. When you throw the P90X DVDs in you can only hope to be to keep up with the guy. I mean, he’s 46. The cool part is that he is there giving you great tips and encouragement because he knows you are going to struggle. He is your personal trainer for 90 days and your support staff. The best part about each workout is that every P90X DVD is only about 1 hour long. This is plenty of time to do it every day. Think about how much time you spend driving to the gym, changing, waiting for equipment to open up, working out, showering, getting dressed and driving back to your home or work. Its probably around 2 hours. P90X is meant to be done at your house. All you need are the P90X DVDs, a pull up bar, and dumbbells or resistance bands.

If your “New Years Resolution” is to get in shape or lose weight then you should start out on a path to help you succeed and not make the same mistakes you have in the past. Learn how to workout in such a way where you will see improvement and more importantly where it still fun. If you need some encouragement check out my P90X results. It worked for me.

When you buy the P90X DVDs you will want to get them with the pull up bar and resistance bands. You are going to need it so you might as well buy it together to save on shipping costs. Go to the Beachbody Store to get the P90X DVDs, pull up bar, and resistance bands. If you do not have dumbbells then I highly recommend the Bowflex Selecttech dumbbells. They are so easy to use and do not take up a ton of space.

With just these simple workouts you will be able to get into amazing shape. Think about what you will look like when April 1st comes rolling around and you for the first time will have actually followed through on your New Years Resolution. You will probably get hooked on P90X so much you will continue to do it. Skip on the gym membership this year and avoid the crowds. Get into great shape with P90X at home while working it into your lifestyle. P90X will be the best investment you will make for yourself for the New Year.
Post from: P90X workouts. Before I started doing P90X I never did any kind of legs or back workout. It was not that I did not want to work those out but never knew how much both of those muscle groups are so important to my everyday fitness. When I use to go to the gym I was that typical guy who did a lot of bench presses, curls, and tricep workouts. I would get on the treadmill every now and then to warm up but I did a lot of arm and chest workouts. Sure, I felt stronger and was in decent shape but no where near the kind of shape I am in now due to doing P90X Legs and Back.

I filmed myself doing the P90X Legs and Back routine after my 90 days with P90X. When I first started I could barely do 15 total chin / pull ups during this routine. While recording this video I did 77 total chin / pull ups. There was one time where I did 82. The rest of this article goes over each exercise shown in the video.

The P90X Legs And Back routine starts out with a set of “Balance Lunges.” This is where you put one foot on a chair and do lunges with one leg while trying to balance. You do both of these for 25 reps. After that you get into some “Calf-Raise Squats.” Adding weights is the way to go with this workout. Again, 25 reps here. To finish off the first three exercises you do a set of “Reverse Grip Chin Ups.” More than likely you will start to already feel a burn in your legs and now your arms and back muscles are going to start getting into it.

What I like the most about P90X Legs And Back is the variety of leg workouts without using dumbbells that much. I only use my Bowflex Selecttech Dumbbells or resistance bands for 3 exercises throughout the whole workout. The next three exercise set is “Super Skaters” which are 25 reps of pretending that you are ice skating on one leg at a time. Next is “Wall Squats.” Wall squats are becoming a favorite of mine because I like to ski and snowboard. For this one you are pressing up against a wall for 90 seconds. My legs are always shaking like crazy during and after this. To finish this off you do “Wide Front Pull-Ups.” These are probably the hardest pull ups to do as you are using so much of your upper body to do them.

The next exercise is going back to the legs. If you have not noticed, in P90X Legs and Back you do 2 leg exercises followed by one back workout and you keep repeating until you are done. “Step Back Lunges” are pretty simple. You are taking a step back while in a lunge and you do 15 reps for each leg. “Alternating Side Lunges” are fun to do. Its a quick one where you do 24 total reps where you do lunges to your left and right. “Closed Grip Overhand Pull-Ups” are next. Here you have your hands in closer than shoulder width. You use a lot of your arms and shoulders in this one. Everything stays in pretty tight and you will probably feel your abs kick in to help you get your head over the bar.

“Single-Leg Wall Squats” are ridiculous. Changing every 10 seconds for 1 minute you have your back against the wall with one leg in the air. This is great for people that need to build up strength around their knees and thighs. I hated single leg wall squats at first but now am excited to see how high I can get each leg in the air. “Deadlift Squats” sound easy to do and are if you have great balance. You do 20 reps for each leg and all you have to do is bend down and touch the ground while standing on one leg. Back to arms with “Switch Grip Pull Ups.” This one is kind of tricky but you can change it up to make it work for you while building up your strength. What you do here is start out doing a chin up and after 2 reps you hold onto the bar and switch it to close grip over hand pull ups while hanging from the pull up bar. A good piece of advice would be to start by doing 2, dropping to the ground, doing 2, and repeat until Tony Horton says time is up. I struggle doing this one not because I can’t do them but I swing my feet around when trying to switch to the next grip. This causes me to hit the ground because I do not have that much space on my door frame.

The “Three Way Lunge With Two Kick Option” is another balance move. You stand in one place and do deep lunges to the side, an angle, and straight ahead. After each lunge you do a kick into the air. “Sneaky Lunges” will burn up your legs. You will get up onto your toes and drop into a lunge while putting your hands up into the air and then dropping them behind your back. Your heels cannot touch the ground until you finish all 20 reps. Tony Horton threatens you if you let your heels hit the ground. Back to “Reverse Grip Chin Ups.” This is the second part of the back routine. For P90X Legs and Back you repeat the 4 different kinds of chin up routines. This is where you need to dig down and “Bring It.” Try to get as many as you did the first time or more. You will probably feel a little gassed at this point with P90X Legs and Back but suck it up and do your best.

With no time to spare after reverse grip chin ups its right into “Chair Salutations.” Picture sitting on a chair with your arms in the air and then taking that chair out from underneath you while holding that pose for 30 seconds…twice. If your legs have not give up on you yet its time for “Toe-Roll Iso Lunge.” Get into a lunge stance and then just rock back in forth while holding the lunge pose for 20 reps for each leg. You are going to feel this burning up every part of your lower body. Now comes the fun part, its “Wide Grip Pull Ups” again. Again, do as many as you can during the time allotted. Doesn’t P90X Legs and Back sound like a fun workout?

We are almost at the end of P90X Legs and Back. Its time for the “Groucho Walk.” Imagine Groucho Marx walking back and forth for 45 seconds. You will be doing this just like him. Legs wide apart in a lunge stance just burning up your thighs. After that you get to have some fun doing “Calf Raises.” Here you should use weights. During this exercise you will point your toes out, then straight , then inwards. For each workout you do 15 slow reps followed by 10 fast ones. The last set with your toes inwards are going to burn up your calves. If your calves are not hurting then you are not trying hard enough. More “Closed Grip Overhand Pull Ups” next. Dig down and do as many as you can.

Only two more exercises to go in P90X Legs and Back. The “80/20 Debbie Cybers Speed-Squats.” Have fun with this one. What you do is put one leg kind of behind the other in a normal standing position. Put 80% of your weight on the leg that is most forward and 20% on the other. Then go as fast as you can doing squats over that front leg for 15 reps and then 15 more while getting airborne. Do this on each side. There is no way that your legs are not going to be burning after those. last move coming up. Finish off the whole P90X Legs and Back DVD with “Switch Grip Pull Ups.”

Why Does P90X Legs And Back Work?

The P90X Legs and Back DVD is a very simple workout. It will probably become one of your favorite P90X DVDs after some doing of doing P90X. As soon as you are able to do a couple of pull ups and chin ups your fear of not being able to finish will be over and you will be excited every time you see that pull up bar. Be prepared to work your butt of when you do this. It takes about an hour to do with warm ups and cool downs. There is one break that is 1 minute long. Tony Horton is there to work you out so stick with it and stay positive so you can get some serious <a

I had taken the time off because I got caught up in a couple of things I was not feeling so good after getting back from a three day bachelor party in Put In Bay, Ohio. The partying and staying on a boat for a couple days messed up my equilibrium pretty bad where I felt like I was still on a boat some three days later. I still ran a couple times and went swimming once but I was just not my normal self. It probably did not help that I did not eat that well while on the trip and of drinking for 8 hours through out the day does not help.

I busted out the P90X Legs and Back dvd yesterday because I felt like it was a good one to get back on track with. The Legs and Back dvd is one of my favorite P90X workouts to do. Once I could do pull ups and chin ups I felt challeneged while doing it. I always enjoy trying to push myself to do more pull ups every time that I do it.

Well, today I am very sore. My legs is what really is sore. I decided to go for a run to help stretch them out and to get a little bit of cardio in. I was almost able to do as many pull ups and chin ups as I normally do but fell short of just a couple. I guess that is not so bad considering I basically did not do anything strenuous over two weeks and still retained some strength. This tells me that the P90X results I have earned can stay there for quite some time as long as I maintain them and work on new muscles. I do not suggest anybody taking off an extended period of time off from doing any kind of workout or exercise. It did not help me and I just feel a little flabby and out of shape. My body is telling me it today that I need to do something every couple of days regardless of where I am at or I am going to pay for it next time I workout.

Post from: <a

One of the things on the gift registry was a scale. We took a look at all of the different types of scales they had. They had the normal everyday ones, the ones that look like tile, and the digital one that my friend wrote down that he wanted. I took a look at it and thought it looked pretty cool. It had a clear surface and just the digital screen to tell you how much you weighed. Curiosity got the best of me and I wondered how long it has been since I stood on a scale. So I stood on the only working model that was there and it said 185. I paused for a couple seconds and was like “185,” really? I asked my girlfriend if I was fat or something because I have never weighed 185. The last time I checked I was at 175 pounds. My girlfriend told me she was not going to say anything because she thought I might let it get to my head that I am much stronger and look more cut up when I take my shirt off.

I had known all along that I was getting stronger just from the results I was getting from each P90X workout. I can feel the results in a lot of my activities such as softball and golf. I am able to hit the ball much farther in both activities and just feel like my performance in both is much better. I still do P90X about 3 days a week now while in my off days I started swimmingmore. The swimming has really tied all of the workouts together for me and been able to help me do more pull ups and chin ups when I do P90X. I think from here I am going to start doing more cardio workouts for awhile instead of trying to put on more muscle. I really have no need to keep getting bulky and let my quickness go to the wayside. Even though I feel stronger I can tell that I am carrying more weight around and want to be able to get used to this weight while still having good cardio and strength. I still highly suggest that if you are serious in getting in great shape that you try doing P90X. It has shown me a new way to think about fitness.

Post from: <a

Makes sense to sign up. It costs $2.99 a week and with it you get customized meal plans, advice from personal trainers like Tony Horton, fitness tools, and recipes. You do need to pay for it upfront. The club membership has a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee. If you do not like it then cancel and get a full refund while keeping everything you bought with your 10% discount.

Buy P90X With A 25% Discount

The best way to buy P90X is to sign up as a Beachbody Coach first and then buy P90X. Its kind of like being a “VIP” with Beachbody. You get 25% off all Beachbody products including P90X and a 50% discount on shipping. The second is that you get your own website from Beachbody where you can promote their products and earn money. There is nothing required of you when you sign up. I’d say about 90% of people who sign up do it for the discounts alone. Beachbody started the Coach program because many people who did buy P90X or other programs would get questions from friends, family members, co-workers, etc about how they are getting into such great shape. Instead of sending your friends to Beachbody to buy P90X you can now send them to your personalized site and earn a 25% commission on whatever they order. I am a Coach and apart of the Club.

Edit – 7-23-10 You might have seen other websites out there selling P90X for less then the $119.85. You need to be aware that there are a lot of scams going on out there and people are getting ripped off. All of the links on this site send you to the real products. Better to buy P90X from the real site instead of gambling on a fake site and not getting anything.

How the Coach program works is you pay a one time fee of $39.95 to get started. This covers them setting up your website and your Coaches packet. After the first month there is a $14.95 monthly cost to stay in the program and you can cancel at anytime. Beachbody handles all the orders, shipping, customer service, and pay you weekly. If you decide in the first 30 days that you want to quit, you can return the materials they sent you and get your $39.95 refunded minus shipping fees.

You are probably saying right now that you don’t want to pay $39.95 to get started or the $14.95 a month and I understand. I was skeptical at first to. Then I thought about a couple things. My last gym membership had a $200 enrollment fee and was $59 a month. It was a nice gym so it might seem high. My problem was that I would get bored and it was because I was not an expert in physical fitness. The gym did offer personal trainers for $80 a session. That’s for one time, not for a month. I never hired one because it was too expensive. Without knowing any better I could never get out of the same workout routine. Then I decided to buy P90X after a friend recommended it to me. Not only did I get great results but I learned about fitness.

Beachbody has six 90 day workout programs getting people great results right now with more coming. You are buying a personal trainer like Tony Horton for $89 for 3 months (or longer) instead of for one day. You will no longer need the gym membership and if you think about it you are coming out ahead with your discount when you sign up to be a <a

You save 25% on everything including supplements, protein bars, meal replacement shakes, and exercise gear. I hope you see the value in that even if you do not want to pursue it as a business. title="P90X DVD" href="http://workoutjourney.com/workout/p90x-dvds" target="_blank">P90X DVD except for the cardio workouts like Plyometrics, Yoga X, Cardio X, and Kenpo X. The cardio workouts do not call for any weights to be used during the workout so you do not need them.

You will get a very intense workout using the resistance bands. You might not get the full range of a workout as what you would do with a set of dumbbells but you can expect to really work your muscles out. I use the resistance bands for some exercises more than others mainly because I just cannot use the dumbbells at all. I have a kink in one of my shoulders and when asked to do arm curls in a squat position I just struggle to do it. My form gets very messy and I really get no benefit to the exercise. I then added the resistance bands and it makes it a little easier to control while still giving my biceps a good workout. There have even been times where I just have nothing left in me and the dumbbells are going to be too much regardless of what weight I use. So I bring out the resistance bands and use those instead.

Can I Use The Resistance Bands For Something Else Than Bicep Curls?

If you struggle doing pull ups and chin ups when doing P90X you can use the resistance bands to simulate the motion you would do when doing a pull up. Even when you watch the P90X DVDs you can see the people in them do this. They will wrap the resistance bands around the P90X pull up bar so its as tight as they like. Then they do the workout as if they were doing pull ups. If you do not struggle doing pull ups but just cannot seem to do anymore in a set anymore, try this. Do as many pull ups as you can during the one minute or so the routine is doing. Then when you can’t do anymore drop off the bar and wrap the resistance bands around the P90X pull up bar and get in another 5 or 6 reps in that way. This should really burn up your muscles and start conditioning them for extra gains. I did a P90X review of when I started adding the resistance bands after I could not do any more pull ups and my numbers told me that I had a 8% increase in all of my P90X results. If you are serious about getting in shape with P90X you should get a set of <a

I have a lot of friends that have done the P90X workout from start to finish and have never done it once. The reason behind this is that its not in the routine manual untl you get to doing the P90X doubles. This is where you do a cardio workout in the morning and a regular workout in the evening. A lot of people do not have the time for this so they skip the morning cardio and focus on the nightly workout. After thinking about it the P90X Core Synergistics is introduced during the off week so you might have only done it once or twice.

What Moves Do You Do In P90X Core Synergistics?

What is unique about Core Synergistics is the variety of exercises you do. You start out by doing push ups with you feet stacked on each other and your hands staggered. Next one is the Banana Roll in which you roll onto your stomach and back engaging your abs. There are some very goofy looking routines. The Sphinx push up is one of the them. Picture lying on the ground looking the Sphinx in Egypt and doing a push up. The plank to chatarunga run is tough. You go back and forth from a plank position bringing your legs to your head in a push up stance and then dropping to the ground for ten seconds while still bringing your feet as high up as you can. This takes strength from your shoulders down to your hip flexors to be able to complete this one.

Any Weird Moves In P90X Core Synergistics?

Another favorite one is the prison cell push up. If you ever see any coverage of inmates at prison yards you will see this push up where they are standing up then drop to the ground, do a push up, bring their right knee to their head, push up, left knee to head, push up, then jump to their feet. Repeat this process for a minute. Its kinda fun because you are engagin so many different muscles and the name is catchy.

P90X Core Synergistics is a nice workout to switch things up here and there if you are getting bored with P90X Ab Ripper X. It is also a great cardio workout that is guaranteed to make you sweat. Its not a very long workout and it moves by very fast. If you don’t plan on buying the entire P90X DVDs then go to the Beachbody Store and click on P90X One on One. You will find a couple workouts that are like P90X Core Synergistics in there.
Post from: <a

It focuses so much on the chest and back muscles that if you do not feel sore the next day you did not do this routine correctly. With so much effort put on doing push ups and pull ups your upper body is going to get the workout of a lifetime. The P90X Chest And Back routine goes like this: chest, back, chest, back until your done.

What Moves Do You Do In P90X Chest And Back?

The chest part of the routine involves doing standard push ups, military push ups, diamond push ups, wide fly push ups, dive bomber push ups, and decline push ups. You will do all of these workouts twice through out the one hour. Tony Horton demands you to go all out for each push up routine for at least one minute. You are working on so many different areas of your chest during this time period.

The back part involves lots of pull ups. The variety of pull ups and chin ups are wide front pull ups, reverse grip chin ups, and closed grip overhand pull ups and you do these twice. Your pull up bar gets a lot of use here. A couple of other back workouts are “lawnmowers” which is where you get into a lunge with a weight of your choice and pull it up like your trying to start a lawnmower. Back flys are where you get a weight and sit on the edge of a chair with weights behind your heels and you bring the weight up pinching your shoulder blades together at the top. Heavy Pants refers to a workout in which you have one foot forward with bent knees and you lift the weights up in a motion like you are trying to pick up your pants.

How Did You Do With P90X Chest And Back?

My first time doing P90X Chest and Back I was able to do 8 total pull/chin ups during the entire workout. Before P90X my form of exercise was running and the only upper body workout I did was push ups. Usually I would do about a 100 total after a 3 mile run. The chest muscles were there so during my many times of doing P90X Chest and Back my push up reps stayed about the same as I was in good shape there already. My biggest gains were with the back muscles. First time I did ”lawnmowers” I used a 30 pound dumbbell and did 10 reps. After my 90 days were up I was using a 52 pound dumbbell and doing 15 reps. Doing pull/chin ups became my favorite exercise. I was able to do 53 total pull/chin ups one time. That is quite a big gain going from 8 to 53.

After my 90 days were up I took a video of me doing P90X Chest and Back. In this video you can see how many push ups and pull ups you will be doing. I had to edit some of the workouts to make it fit in the 10 minutes given to me by YouTube. In this one I did 48 total pull/chin ups. It was not my best performance as I was a little tired that day but still very good.

P90X Chest and Back is in my opinion one of the hardest P90X workouts. With so much emphasis being put on the upper body you are definitely going to be feeling a little sore tomorrow regardless of how hard you pushed. It should not be long before you start seeing <a
