P90X Made Me Buy New Clothes

Today I was trying on some clothes I use to wear at my old job because I have a job interview coming up in a couple days and I wanted to make sure they still fit. The interview is going to be a informal one so all I really need was a pair of khakis and a button down shirt. I purchased a new suit over the summer time mainly because I needed one. It had been some 9 months since I had worn the khaki pants but I assumed they still fit. All of my other clothes still fit so why wouldn't these?

Low and behold the pants were very snug. I didn't feel like I was getting fat so what's the deal. After pondering for a couple minutes about buying new clothes and why the hell these pants do not work it all came back to me. P90X is the problem, but in a good way. After doing P90X for over 9 months now I guess my body has made some dramatic changes. Taking a look at my P90X results its easy to see that my back muscles have grown a little bit. I have put on 10 pounds of muscle with P90X so all of the muscle had to go some where. I didn't get any fatter but what can you do when your legs and back get bigger? I can either complain about it or be happy that I don't have weak leg and back muscles.

I'm not happy knowing that its probably going to cost me some money to replace some of my clothes. Over the summer time its pretty easy to wear shorts a lot but when winter comes around all of the clothes I bought last year are not going to fit because my body has changed that much. Before I started doing P90X I was big into running. Doing all of that running caused my to lose quite a bit of weight which was for the most part muscle. It did not bother me because I was extremely fit. When I did all of the running I had to buy new clothes then too because all of my other stuff was too big. Now, I have gone back to my original size but in a much stronger way. Oh, well. This is what I wanted I guess.
