P90X 3 Phase Nutrition Plan

I was going through all of the stuff that was sent to me when I bought the P90X DVDs and I came across the P90X 3 Phase Nutrition Plan. I totally forgot all about it and decided to give it a look through last night. I was very surprised to see how many great looking recipes they had. Normally I eat pretty healthy to begin with and have followed a specific diet that I will go over with soon.

If you are only looking for advice on how to make "low fat recipes" or just on how to eat healthy. You should sign up to be apart of the Beachbody Club. When you join the club you will get personalized meal plans, expert advice from Beachbody Trainers like Tony Horton, workout videos showing you new exercises to do, fitness tools, and prizes up to $1,000, iPods, DVD players and more just for working out. The Team Beachbody Club costs $2.99 a week and is billed for 3 months in advanced. There is a 30 day risk free trial period. Beachbody does not sell the nutrition guide individually.  Your best option is to just buy the P90X DVDs or join the Beachbody Club for up to date health advice.  What I really enjoyed about the P90X 3 Phase Nutrition Plan is that it slowly starts you in changing your eating habits. As most of us know, crash diets and drastic changes are going to lead to failure. Our lives are not designed to make drastic changes so fast and our body will now know what to do and will go into shock mode. I can tell that the people at Beachbody have really put some time and effort into making the whole P90X package a top notch workout system. I started writing down some of the recipes and will try to incorporate them into my diet every once in awhile. Its not going to hurt me to try something new and I will probably learn how to make a great tasting meal. Most of the dinners and meals that are included in the P90X 3 Phase Nutrition Plan are pretty simple and it really comes down to portion control. This is one thing that is stressed in the guide. They try to get you to eat through out the day instead of 3 big meals which most of us do. Eating 5 small meals during the day will give you the energy to stay moving but not make you feel so heavy and tired after eating.

Buy P90X DVDs

 If you really want to learn about the foods you should be eating, I highly suggest you take a look at the book called "Eat Right For Your Blood Type." I have been following this book for the most part over the past 5 years. It was introduced to me by my roommate at the time sister. She was in her 30's but looked like she was in her mid 20's. The book is pretty simple and it makes a lot of sense. Pretty much how it goes is that some researchers followed back the different types of bloodlines (O+, O-, A, B, etc.) and looked at what type of food was available at that time for those people to eat. Whatever they had is what you should be eating. As an example, I am O+. This is the oldest type of blood. It was the same blood type as the cave man. The book says how that all that the cave man had to eat was a lot of proteins (meat). They did a study on people with O+ blood and found that they all had higher acidic levels in their stomachs then other blood types. O+ people needed the higher acidic levels to be able to break down the high amounts of meats in their stomachs. Other blood types should not eat as much as O+ people. On the flip side it says that I should not eat foods high in acidic levels like oranges because now I have twice the amount of acids in my stomach which gives me a tummy ache. I would highly suggest you take a look at this book. It breaks down what foods and drinks are good for you, neutral, and bad. Lucky for me beer is okay. Liquors are bad. Now I know why I can have a couple beers and feel okay in the morning but if I drink gin and tonics I do not feel so good the next day. Its all because of my cave man blood.

 Try to incorporate either the P90X 3 Phase Nutrition Plan or even the "Eat Right For Your Blood Type" book into your daily activities. You will still get results doing the P90X workout but not as defined results unless you have a healthy diet.
