This is because of all of the upper body workouts you do with P90X. P90X has so many back and arm workouts which are the majority of your muscles used when swimming. I do not see how P90X will not help with your swimming times.

@ Brian

I started doing swimming after P90X. Because i am dedicated to swimming, getting too bulky will slow my time. So, any comments?

I was thinking doing P90X, but i was afraid it’s gonna affect my swimming shape.
