My name is Brad Gibala and I am a 3 Star Diamond Beachbody Coach. Thanks for taking a couple minutes to read what the coaching opportunity is all about. Before I get into all of the business stuff you need to know that I was a customer of Beachbody before I became a Beachbody Coach. I feel this is important for you to know as you read this because the best customers end up making the best coaches. A friend of mine told me about P90X in late 2007 and I became hooked after the first day. It surprised me how well the program was put together and how much fun it was. I ended up doing three rounds of P90X in 2008 before learning about the Beachbody Coach opportunity in early 2009.
I wish I would have heard about the Beachbody Coach opportunity sooner as many of my friends and family members saw my results and asked me what I was doing to get in shape. My story was a little different than most as I did not lose any weight doing P90X. I was a “skinny fat” runner who ended up putting on 10 pounds of muscle, cutting body fat, and was as fit as I’ve ever been. Many of my friends approached me asking what I was doing to get in such great shape. I told them P90X and where to buy it. Since I was not a Beachbody Coach at the time I did not earn any money by referring them to Beachbody. If I was involved as a coach I would have earned at least $700. Of course I wish I would have earned the money but I still signed up for the 25% discount on the products and went to work learning how to be a Beachbody Coach. My story is not that much different from others who have used the products and achieved great results from them. They put the effort in with the workouts and shared their results with others. In the video, Beachbody CEO Carl Daikeler, says its perfectly. “They are not fitness or nutritional experts. These are people who simply love the products and love sharing them with people because they actually work.” This is exactly what I said above. I am not a expert at anything. All I did to achieve my results was buy a workout program and follow the plan. That’s it. From there, I went and shared the products with my inner circle. I was “Coaching” before I even became a Beachbody Coach. Pretty simple huh?

Have You Met Any Of The Beachbody Trainers Or Executives?
Yes. The trainers are exactly like what they are in the videos. P90X trainer Tony Horton is cracking jokes and talking all the time. Shaun T from the Insanity workout is intense and always teaching the importance of good form. Chalene Johnson from Turbo Fire is full of energy. Brett Hoebel from RevAbs and the Biggest Loser has this natural coolness that I’m kind of jealous of. Doing the workouts with them is a whole lot different than following on a dvd as they are correcting your every move. Beachbody CEO Carl Daikeler is the passionate guy behind all of this. Its easy to see how much he truly cares about ending the trend of obesity going in our world. Here are a couple pictures I’ve taken with them over the years.
Who Should Be A Beachbody Coach?
Everyone. You do not need to be in shape or fit from day 1. I like to look at it as a commitment to yourself to use the products. The business usually follows those who put the time and effort into themselves first as your inner circle will notice what your doing. I recommend you take advantage of the 25% discount on products from the get go and do a workout program. Just like with any business, you need to know your product.
Who Is The Beachbody Coach Program Not For?
Those who only join for the business. The business success stories of people who have done well without putting effort into a workout program are few and far between. Reason being is you lose credibility. Your potential customers or coaches need to know you are making an effort to use the products yourself.
How Much Does It Cost To Be A Beachbody Coach?
Just like with any business there has to be some startup fees. The good news is they are very low. There is a one time $39.95 sign up fee and then its $14.95 a month afterwards to be a Beachbody Coach. With it you get two websites to send people to. One of them is your Beachbody Coach page and the other one is all about Shakeology. The $14.95 also covers warehousing, shipping, customer service, and inventory. Pretty much all of the things you do not want to deal with or have time for. All you do is send people to those sites and Beachbody handles the rest. Here is what they look like.
Am I Required To Buy Anything As A Beachbody Coach?
No, but you should. Beachbody gives you a 25% discount on all of their products so you should at the very least buy Shakeology on auto shipment for free shipping. I buy Shakeology, the P90X Recovery Drink, and two boxes of the P90X Protein Bars every month and go through all of it. They have made a big difference in my workout results so it does not make sense to not buy them since I know they work. The discount alone covers the $15 a month fee to be a Beachbody Coach. In my opinion, Shakeology is Beachbody’s best product and you better be using it everyday. This also helps you maintain active status.
Is This A Pyramid Scheme?
No. This is a business opportunity where we sell real products.
Can I Make Money As A Beachbody Coach?
Yes. You need to know that this is not some get rich scheme. Its going to take time. The business part of being a Beachbody Coach is just like doing P90X. Your only going to get out of it what you put into it. The good news is that its only $39 to get involved and $15 a month afterwards. This means you don’t need to worry about a lot of expenses while trying to build your business. Most, if not everybody starts out doing this in their part time as they already have a full time job. Here’s a couple snapshots of my earnings from my first month to over the past two years. The first one shows my first month as a Beachbody Coach. Most of my sales were from friends or family. The second and third are half sales and bonuses from other coaches. When you make 2 Star Diamond Coach you get to open up another business center. This means you can potentially earn a bonus from yourself on each sale you make. The beginning of the year is when people are making their New Years Resolutions so business is typically better. The last two are to show you that things are still going well.
My goal with showing you some of my commission checks is not to impress you but to impress upon you that the Beachbody Coach business opportunity is real. You can tell from my earnings that it did not happen over night for me. At the same time you need to know I was unemployed at the time without many options. I decided to learn as much as I could and apply those things over the next nine months. The first six months were a real challenge but I stuck with it and kept growing. If you have a full time job and full time life then these earnings through the Beachbody Coach opportunity are probably going to take a little longer. Reason being is I was spending 50 hours a week learning and applying. Most people can only put in 5 hours a week on top of doing the workouts. No need to fear. The business will follow. I just wanted to give you realistic expectations.
Can You Show Inside Info That Only A Beachbody Coach Can See?
No problem. The video shows how the customer lead program works to and why its so important to make Emerald Coach as soon as possible. You’ll hear me in the video talking about sponsoring new coaches under older coaches and how I will do that for you too. I no longer do this. Reason being is that it sets the precedent that I am going to do everything for you. It sounds like a great idea at first but many of those people wait on me to do the work for them without doing anything on their own. What I do now is train you how to build a successful Beachbody Coach business and support you as you go. This way we are setting you up for success instead of a big let down. I made this video back in 2009 so its a little bit old but the principles are still the same. In it you will see my earnings from when I signed up in 2009, how the compensation plan works, the 25% discount on products, how to maintain an active status, and how this business can start to grow away from you the longer you stick with it.
What Kind Of Success Have You Had As a Beachbody Coach?
From a business perspective I would say that I’m most proud of sticking with it and making a full time income for myself in less than a year. Its nice to be able to call my own shots. Along with that I’ve had a chance to enjoy a few perks of being a successful Beachbody Coach.
