The P90X Workout And Team Beachbody

By Brad Gibala On April 2, 200910 COMMENTs

Me & Tony HortonMy name is Brad Gibala. I am a Diamond Coach with Team Beachbody.

You might be wondering what a Coach is and I am happy to tell you. First off you need to know that I am a customer of Beachbody and not a employee. This is the company that makes P90X, Insanity, Power 90, and many other home workout programs. You probably ended up here because you were searching for info related to those and you found me. It is because I have used P90X, Insanity, and Power 90 to get in shape and write about using them on my site.

I am not a fitness or nutrition expert and do not claim to be. I am just a normal guy who has struggled staying in shape while going to gyms over the years and have now found a better way. I leave it to the experts and let the people at Beachbody tell me what to do. They come up with the workouts and nutrition plans and I follow them. When I get done with one workout I go and buy a new one. Doing so has helped me get into great shape all from the comfort of my home. I have been able to save about $450 a year on gym memberships as I do not need it anymore.

Me & Chalene JohnsonWhen you clicked on the Beachbody Coach link you probably saw them talking about a business. Let me explain. When you sign up to be a Coach you have the opportunity to start a business on the side while you are working out to a program of your choice. What Beachbody found out was people who were using their programs were getting great results and friends, family, co-workers, etc. were asking them what they were doing to get into shape. People would tell them and go buy the products from Beachbody directly. Beachbody decided to start rewarding people who tell people what they are doing.

A couple things you should know about being a Coach. Don't let the title of Coach scare you. You do not need to coach anybody if you don't want to. I look at it as a way to answer questions about the products because I do them already. If anything, Beachbody is coaching you. It is $39.95 to start which can be waived if you buy a workout program at sign up. There is a $14.95 charge every five weeks after that which covers all of the business expenses like customer service, shipping, etc. You do nothing besides tell people what you are doing to get in shape. One of the best benefits of being a coach is you get a 25% discount on all Beachbody products and free shipping on most items. The savings alone make sense to sign up. Its why I and about 95% of people who sign up do it for that alone. To show why you would want to sign up when you are ready to start a workout I made a video where I show the things you cannot see until you become a coach. I even show my weekly earnings to prove that this is real.

Emerald Beachbody CoachThe Beachbody compensation plan video describes every thing from my video more in depth. It shows how you can earn Ruby Beachbody Coachmoney from Diamond Beachbody Coachmaking sales and also from sponsoring new people under you. What I have found out is that people are nervous joining this type of program as they do not want to bug friends or family to join and you know what, you don't have to. I'll cover that more below.

Who Should Sign Up To Be A Coach?

- Anybody who is looking for a new way to get into shape.

- Somebody who currently buys health products and wants a discount.

- Somebody looking to build a business while getting in shape.

Who Is The Coach Program Not For?

- Somebody who is not willing to try to get into shape with a Beachbody workout. There is a reason why P90X has over 1 million testimonials. It works.

- Anybody who thinks they are going to make thousands of dollars in their first week. Did you watch my video?

I tell everybody that being a coach is a commitment to yourself to get into shape with Beachbody workouts. To be successful as a coach you need to be a walking billboard. What always happens is around the two month mark of doing a workout people start noticing your results. Now the coach can send them to the website Beachbody gives you (looks like this) and earn some money.

Think about this for a second. Let's say you don't even earn $1 as a coach but you got into great shape. Would it still be worth it? I think so. The reason why people fail when going to the gyms is they don't have the knowledge to make their own programs and continue to change them. Beachbody handles all of that for you now.

I want to see you succeed with a workout program of your choice first. So what I am doing is helping you build your business for you. My website gets lots of visitors a day and many people contact me about being a coach. Instead of putting them below me I will start putting people under you while you are working out. This way you can focus on getting into shape. In a short time period I will have put enough people below you where your monthly expenses are being paid from the bonuses you earn from the coaches I put under you. We are not talking about a lot of money, maybe $100 a month for you after expenses. That $100 does not stop though. Expect it to keep growing the longer you stay involved. Not bad for me doing the work.

As soon as those people reach Emerald Coach level I work on the next people in line. I'll handle the training, phone calls, etc to get the people up to speed while you learn with me. Its a win win situation as you can now focus on staying in shape and not worry about the business. All you need to do is maintain an active status and this is easily done by selling or buying roughly $50 a month on  products. That's it. Think about that for a second. All you need to do is buy or sell $50 every 5 weeks and you can earn $100 or more a month and growing for as long as you stay active.

Edit: Would you believe people thought I was going to do all the work for them? Also, I cannot control how many people contact me a day and with a lot of people on my team it might be a year before I get to you. I am still helping people but have taken a new policy and that is to "Work with the Willing." My goal is to help people make it to Diamond Coach. You don't know what this is right now but its one of the highest ranks. This means if you sign up today and start sponsoring more people on your own then others who signed up with me earlier I will skip to you and help you make it to Diamond. Beachbody has also changed some of the rules for their contests so I have to sponsor some people under me. Hey, I want to win contests too.

Beachbody has many products to choose from and you can go on their home direct plan where they mail you a product of your choice every 5 weeks. I have them send me the P90X Recovery Drink, a tub of  Whey Protein (for shakes), glucosimine tablets (for my joints), and their Wildberry Protein Bars for a mid day snack. I recommend every body get on it. If you know its coming in the mail you will use it and do the workouts. Plus, it tastes good.

Since I joined to be a Coach in Jan 09 I have done quite a bit of things with the business part of it. Many of those things have helped me build a nice business and what I do now is share my tips with people who want to be a Coach too. Some of the things I do are give you a e-book I wrote showing how to build a website like mine so you can track your progress on your own site. I will tell you that hoping to make a lot of money through a website is the worst way to go about it. I'll cover that more in depth after you sign up. Other things include weekly tips on how I grow my business and how I've made it into a full time living. I also let you put a link on my website to your Beachbody page like I have done with the coaches who are on my sidebar already. They have had people contact, sign up, and buy from them just from doing this. Many of the tips I share with you helped me earn the Top Beachbody Coach for Region 5 Summer 2009. Here is my video.

If you are ready to get started then click on the Beachbody Coach link and sign up. During sign up you will be able to buy whatever products you want like P90X or Insanity with your 25% discount. Beachbody will then send you a welcome e-mail. Please take a couple minutes to complete the things they want you to do.

If you do not want to be a coach then that's cool too. Go to the Beachbody Store and pick out a workout to do. Just remember what I said about what will happen at day 45 when people start asking you what you're doing to get in shape. Then come back and sign up to be a coach.

After you sign up please send a e-mail to Brad@WorkoutJourney.com letting me know you signed up. I will respond asap. From there we will set up a time where I can answer questions about being a coach and go over in depth how it all works.

Workout Routines For 2-1-10 To 2-7-10

By Brad Gibala On February 8, 2010 NO COMMENTS

Monday (2/1/10) P90X Upper Plus and Abs Core Plus - I loved this workout. It was my first time doing P90X Plus and Tony Horton makes up more crazy ass moves. The first move was a push up / tricep dip thing. When I saw it the first time I was like "wtf is that?" My arms were aching when I finished it. The Abs Core Plus workout was great. The involvement of the pull up bar made it fun and challenging.

Tuesday (2/2/10) 4 Mile Run & .71 Mile Swim - I cranked up the mph on the treadmill to 7 mph for the entire 4 mph while running on the hill setting. My swim time was very good. I finished the 50 lengths in about 30 minutes only taking a break at the halfway point to stretch for 30 seconds.

Wednesday (2/3/10) P90X Interval X Plus - This was a tough workout. It

Pink talks P90X with Oprah

By Brad Gibala On February 6, 2010 NO COMMENTS

I've already written about how Pink does P90X but yesterday she was on the Oprah Winfrey show talking with Oprah about how she uses P90X to get in shape for her tours. Here is the video.

She would go on to say that she gets a little bulky doing it because she was a gymnast when she was younger so those muscles are still there. Oprah asked her about the "man abs" she got from doing it too. Maybe Oprah should start doing P90X so then I don't have to hear about her struggle with weight gain anymore on the news.
